Roots of Inspiration: The Art of Greg Curnoe

[Greg Curnoe's art: Self Portrait #4, 1992, courtesy of ccca.ca; Cultural Exchange #1, 1976, private collection; Mariposa 10 Speed, 1973, National Gallery of Canada]

Dennis Reid (Issue3) curated a retrospective of longtime friend and Canadian artist Greg Curnoe's work for the Art Gallery of Ontario in 2001 and co-edited the accompanying catalogue. We've always been a fan of Curnoe's vibrantly coloured work—and find it especially inspiring in the middle of this long and dreary Canadian winter.
