I’m back again with a fun post to show you how you can get a professionally-styled look in your home for A LOT less by finding items on Craigslist. This time around, I found a beautiful living room in House Beautiful.

This contemporary room is full of goodies – Barcelona chairs, a large, unique wooden coffee table, a sleek, grey sofa and an interesting floor lamp.
And low and behold, I was able to find all of these items on Craigslist:

1. Barcelona Stools – No question, these stools are classic! Regularly, these babies cost about $2000 each. The seller is asking for $500 for the set (note: not sure if these are the real thing, but they still look great!)
2. Coffee Table – This a slightly darker version of the one in the photo above, but equally cool all the same.  The seller is asking for $100
3. Sofa – This modern sofa is a steal at $350!
4. Floor Lamp – The lamp I found is a little different from the one in the photo, but it has three lamps and, quite frankly, I like it a lot better than the original. It kind of has a mid-century/industrial look to it. The seller is asking for a whopping $20!
I’d like to hear back from you guys this week – have you found any gems on Craigslist or Kijiji? Share your finds below in the comments section.
See you next month!

Fabulous! The lamp is the big miss for me. It has none of the elegance of the original photo--I think that one works because of the graceful, thin lines of the stems, and the gold metallic color.

But still.
