As our summer days are dwindling and we are getting into the fall months and (gasp!) the winter, it's nice to be able to look at a room and say, "Mmmm, that reminds me of summer."  Well, this dreamy, yet simple, bedroom does just that for me. I can just picture it in a cozy cottage up north, with the clapboard walls and ceiling, the seafoam green paint and the collected-look of the items. Want to be reminded of summer all year round and recreate this room in your house? Craigslist to the rescue!

1. Cast Iron Bed - $75 - You can always count on Craigslist for a antique cast iron bed.  I really like the gold accents on the bedposts.  Just add a patchwork quilt and you're all set!

2. Stagecoach Trunk - $325 - Okay, the trunk costs more than the bed, but it is soooooooooo worth it! This may be the most beautiful trunk I have ever seen, online and in person. The wood, mixed with the metal banding and brass studs is a perfect combination and is a dead-ringer for the side table in the photo

3. Rocking Chair - $35 - See that little, white rocking chair poking out of the corner? There's one of those on Craigslist too.  And perfect to hand your clothes on before heading into your comfy bed!

4. Wall Sconces - $175 - All the more reason to jump into bed and curl up with your latest read!  These sconces are definitely in need of some larger shades, but that's a small price to pay for the detail on the bases.

Okay, who's ready to hibernate here until next summer?
